Box Tops for Education
Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school buy what it needs. Box tops are worth $0.10 each, and they quickly add up to real cash for our school. To help our school, look for pink Box Tops on products, clip them, and send them to school. For more information on the Box Tops for Education program, including a list of participating products and our school's progress, go to www.BTFE.com. Be sure to become a member to receive exclusive coupons and learn about extra ways for our school to earn.
Each year, the PTA collects Box Tops to raise money for student activities and equipment. Last year, you helped us raise $734.70, and this year we would like to raise $1,800. Please start collecting and turning in all of your Box Tops for the spring submission, Friday, 16 February.
The Box Tops committee has to hand count and double check each Box Top before we send it in to General Mills, so we would appreciate your help with making this a little easier. Follow these steps to ensure we are credited for all of our Box Tops:
- Check each Box Top for an expiration date. General Mills does audit each submission and will dock us for expired Box Tops.
- Trim each Box Top. This doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does make it easier to count and package them.
- Put current, trimmed Box Tops in a zip-top bag with your student's name and grade on it.
It may seem like a lot of work, but it is worth the effort to help fund school activities and equipment for the students. Remember, each Box Top is worth 10 cents, and they add up quick.
Please drop your bags of Box Tops in either the collection box in the foyer of BBE below the PTA bulletin board.
Thank you for participating in these programs and helping BBE earn education materials and cash. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or ideas; I am here to make these programs a huge success this year! Box Tops Chair (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Volunteers of the Month
We are so thankful for our volunteers!
Lara Durand: For helping so much with the ticket sales booth at FF. She was there the entire night, accommodating as many people as she could. It was so very helpful knowing she was there as I ran around like a crazy person! She was even-keeled and in good spirits the entire time...even when we were at our busiest!! So thankful for her!
Michelle Parker / Alison Davis / Barbara Goodwin: Helping in the library and for being available whenever and wherever I need them.
Debra Bache / Julie Geter / Michelle Parker / Katrina Bailey / Clara De Ridder / Brook Erwin (also for help with Nutcracker) / Tina Pawlik: I had a lot of help on Santa's Workshop, but these volunteers did the most!
Ircka West: For doing an amazing job on Santa's Workshop!!
